These terms govern use of the BEADS ABACUS app in India. Alan Joseph operates the app and its related website. By creating or using an app account, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Separate teaching services

Smart Bee Educare runs the BEADS ABACUS teaching program as a separate organisation. Other teachers, tutors, schools, and institutions may also use the app for their own teaching. They, rather than Alan Joseph, run their classes, admissions, tuition, and other educational services. Those services may be subject to separate agreements with them. These terms cover the app and its features, not those separate services.

Student accounts and guardian approval

Students must provide accurate registration information. A parent or lawful guardian must review and approve a student account before practice becomes available. If you are a guardian, only approve an account for a child for whom you are legally authorised to act. Do not use someone else's account or share your password. Tell us promptly at support@beadsabacus.com if you believe an account is being misused.

Teachers and learning features

Teacher access is provided through authorised accounts. Teachers should use student information only for the learning activities offered by the app and must protect their credentials. Teachers and their institutions decide how to teach and what work to assign. Assignments, practice results, rankings, and progress indicators are learning aids; they are not formal academic certification or a guarantee of educational outcomes.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and respectfully. Do not try to access another person's data without permission, interfere with the service, bypass security or guardian approval, impersonate someone, or submit material that harms others or the service. Do not enter payment information or unrelated sensitive material into learning or support fields.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, suspend, or discontinue features to keep the app working and safe. We may restrict access if an account is used in breach of these terms or threatens the service. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes. If we change these terms, the effective date above will be updated.

Deletion and privacy

A signed-in student can delete their account in Settings > Delete account. You can also use the account deletion page to make a request without the app. The Privacy Policy explains what information is used and what may remain after deletion. Guardians can contact info@beadsabacus.com about a child's information.

Responsibility

We aim to provide a useful and reliable learning service, but temporary interruptions or errors can occur. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable Indian law.
